Whatever guide system you use, it should somehow map your head. Practice being able to draw a global map of main activity, from a blank page, out of your head, in 4 min. Use 2-3 (max) activities per division. As you practice, main divisions get steady and it gets simpler and faster.
Having lots of projects on your Action Repository is fine. But it doesn't guide you. As we approach the GUIDES elements of your system, your main divisions of activity must get clearer and clearer. A good way to practice is drawing quickly what is most needing your focus right now.
Structure it into MAIN DIVISIONS (3 to 6) and ITEMS inside each division (2-3 max).
The faster you get, the more you know you have a good match between how you represent it in your head and the map, and consequently your action repository is serving its purpose of allowing good perspective and choices. Notice how these main divisions will become a sort of "drawer" to strengthen structure. Later you'll use that, both in terms of agenda compartments, and performance measure.
It's interesting... I just read a post that say you should put your map somewhere you can see everyday...
